When I joined the United States Navy I had no idea the excitement, adventure and overall excellence I would achieve while enlisted. The decision to join came completely from left filed. I had just graduated at the top of my high school class and was expected to go on to college, run track and pursue a degree in Medical Technology. The next thing everyone knew I had hopped on a plane to Illinois and joined the Navy. No one believed I was really serious until I swore in for the second time and went to DFW to catch my airplane. My most memorable and special occasion was boot camp graduation.
