The Adventures of Huck Finn is an adaptation of Mark Twain’s classic novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. This film was released in 1993 into theaters, and was released by Disney. It is through this release through Disney that it gets its specific formula. It is through this well-known, feel-good, Disney formula that this film loses completely the feel that Mark Twain induced through his book.
In order to fit into time constraints, the plot also had to be cut down. This is somewhat understandable, and evident in any book-to-film production.
