The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Huck is put in different situations and ways of life and each time he is forced to conform to the situation. The novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, has many recurring themes, conformity is one theme that stands out the most. For instance, although Huck might not necessarily like the situation, he almost immediately adjusts. While living with Miss. Watson, she insisted on teaching him the bible, clothing him, teaching him to read and write and telling him not to smoke (2). He was told to pray everyday and that whatever he asked for he would get it.
