The end of World War I brought many celebrations in the United States. However, it was accompanied by a time period of economic unstableness. The 1920s has been interpreted in two aspects. “Turbulent Decade”, was seen as a decade of a confused and unstable economy and society. In another aspect, it was considered to be the “Roaring Twenties”, a period of fun, entertainment and partying. The 1920s were affected by technological advances and new forms of entertainment, making it both a decade of problems and a decade of diversion.
