Akhenaten and his family

On page 120 of the text, we see a sunken relief showing Akhenaten and His Family in limestone. The image is a depiction of Queen Nefertiti and Akhenaten with three of their daughters. The king and queen both sit on thrones and one can see that under Nefertiti’s throne cushion, there is a symbol – a stylized plant- which represents a unified Egypt.
