In this September, the Congress had approved twelve amendments to the Constitution. Two of them were rejected whereas ten of them were approved and ratified by the states. These ten amendments are known as the Bill of Rights.
These ten amendments were adopted on December 15, 1791, which listed the freedoms that the federal government cannot take away. These ten amendments protects people from their rights: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble peacefully with other persons, and the right to petition the federal government to correct wrongs.
So, where did these amendments come from? The Magna Carta and the
