I have my own room. I have my own bathroom. I have my own car. Everything was like a dream when I first moved to the United States. I never complained to my parents that they would not let me stay in the dormitory at Tufts. I thought, “What is the difference anyways? The only difference is that I do not have to share my room and bathroom with anyone. That is it.” I was wrong!
International orientation was great; I made friends with so many people from different countries. Every night we would stay up late chatting, playing card games and doing just about anything, and then I would sleep over in somebody’s room.
