The question being addressed is whether or not animals and humans are equal. Through his research and observations of philosophers, Peter Singer is led to believe that animals and humans are directly equal.
2. Describe what I said about them.
Singer points out that the issue of equality “does not confront the philosopher or student as an issue itself,” but rather it proves in his eyes that philosophy fails to “challenge accepted beliefs.”
3. Trace the origin or authority of claim.
The origin of Singer’s claim comes from his take on philosophy. He obviously disagrees with philosophy’s failure to challenge beliefs. He does not even believe that any human can value them through this take
