Which two characters in To Kill A Mockingbird have gained your sympathy

In Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird there are a number of characters who it is easy to feel sympathetic towards however Tom Robinson and Mayella Ewell have gained the most of my pity with having to put up with adversity. Tom Robinson had to deal with Racism, getting convicted for a crime he didn’t commit and also being taken advantage of by being to generous and helpful. Where as Mayella Ewell had to put up with living in poverty, no education, forced to raise her siblings and also being abused by her father.
