Television has come a long way. It started out in the early 1940's with around 7,000 working sets in all of the United States and only 9 stations on the air. Over the years, as with everything else, television changed drastically. More stations started appearing, programs started and ended, also sets became bigger and full color broadcasting was introduced. With the technological changes, there were changes in morality, too. In the hit series, "I Dream of Jeannie" from the 1960's, the producers were forced to keep Jeannie from showing her belly button, as this was considered inappropriate.
