False prophets

Over the millennia there has been many false prophets, some of them crazy, other just looking for attention, but they are all equally moronic in the fact that they thought that they had foreseen something that was to happen in the future, only a fraction of society will be smart enough or religiously neutral enough to figure this out; and therein lies the problem.
