On July 9, 2003 Doug Williams went into the Lockheed-Martin manufacturing plant near Meridian, Mississippi and went on a shooting spree. He was a white worker who had a reputation as a racist. During his shooting Doug Williams killed five people and wounded several others. This shooting highlights the phenomenon of workplace violence in corporate America, which is a problem that becomes more pervasive in a struggling economy, experts say (ABC News).
