Interdependence is the ‘mutual dependence’ which can be differentiated from mere interconnectedness on the basis of reciprocal costly effects of transactions. To go deeper into the discussion, interdependence signifies a situation in which unilateral action by one state fosters for one or more other states and/or their common goals.
