The way a person was brought up and their experiences in their lives affect the way they might see things. Many authors use themes in their stories that relate to their own lives. One such author was Franz Kafka. In Kafka’s “The Metamorphosis,” Kafka related his themes in a more abstract way. These themes included his career, isolations, and relationships.
Kafka was born in Prague, Bohemia on July 3, 1883. He came from a middle-class Jewish family and grew up loving to write. He found a position in the semipublic Workers’ Accident Insurance institution, where he remained a loyal and successful employee until 1917. Kafka was a dedicated man and was dedicated to his work.
