A Tale of Two Cities, is a novel by Charles Dickens, set in Eighteenth Century England. There are many characters involved in the story. Some of these characters are more minor than others. However, minor characters help with different aspects of the novel. In A Tale of Two Cities, Gaspard, Jerry Cruncher, and Miss Pross help illustrate the way of life during this time, aid character development, and add comic relief to the plot.
