Bose Corporation, the world’s largest manufacturer of component quality speakers, is intending to implement “Just In Time II” (JIT II) and therefore requested that one of their leading plastics suppliers, G&F Industries, will station a representative full-time at Bose headquarters. Historically, as still supported by the VP of Manufacturing, it has been Bose’s manufacturing strategy to evolve their plants into self-sufficiency, i.e. to establish the internal capabilities to manufacture all components in-house instead of sourcing them externally.
