OxyContin is a pain reliever that can control or relieve pain for up to twelve hours if taken properly. OxyContin is an agonist opined. This one of the most powerful pain relievers available to date. Once oxycodone enters the body, it stimulates certain opioid receptors that are located throughout the central nervous system, in the brain and along the spinal cord. Once this happens there can be several different responses, ranging from pain relief slowed breathing and even euphoria.
