Dynamics is anything to do with the loudness of sound. Dynamics is very prominent in classical music. If you listen to a classical song, you will notice that the song can start off very soft, then slowly get louder and peak, and then get quieter again. This can happen many times in one song. This can be a problem if for example you were listening to a classical song in the car, at the quiet bit you’ll be tempted to turn the music up so you can hear the music above the engine noise, but you’ll notice that when it gets to the louder bits in the songs, the music becomes too loud and you have to turn it down again to compensate.
