Huck Finn knows more then a fourteen year old boy could possibly know. He has a maturity level of someone way beyond his years and knowledge that exceeds the intelligence of most fourteen year old boys. This knowledge and maturity along with other factors aids him in his decision making in, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. In the novel, Huck makes many story altering decisions. These decisions allow his morals and character to be uncovered and exposed for the reader. Two monumental decisions that Huck faces are what to do about the gold of the Wilks family and Jims freedom.
