Human genocide, referring to the almost complete destruction of European Jews by Nazi Germany throughout the 1930’s and 40’s, is a harsh reality to accept. When millions of people die because of their beliefs this plagues our minds to consider what the sole purpose and reasoning is behind such a regime of hatred. In order to cope with the pain that has been brought upon Jewish families during the Holocaust and even others that realized later on the tragedy that happened, we must examine the contributing factors that lead up to the Holocaust, along with the resulting magnitude on the Jewish and German community today.
