One of the main themes in A Separate Peace is peace its self. Peace and how to
achieve it is actually one of the great themes in life, and as a Christian it is essential to know that there is only one way to obtain true peace, through Jesus Christ. The story displays an idea of peace that does not necessarily contradict the Bible, but presents it in a way that would not show you an everlasting and eternal peace.
Peace being one of the main themes of the book brings out fear as being one of the main battles.
