In today’s society, we tend to ignore any ideas that pertain to death. We see death as the end of life and if we dwell on it, then it is an admission that we are not immortal. Many of us value our life far too much to make any reflection on what is in the afterlife. In many ancient civilizations, death was not thought of as an end, but more as a beginning to eternal life.
