For this book report, I chose to read the book A Child Called “It” by Dave Pelzer. It was published in 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska. It takes place when he was a little kid, from when he was born until when he was about in 5th grade, which is being about 11 years old. The genre of this book is an autobiography because Dave wrote it about his childhood. This story is basically about the life of an abused child. He has two older brothers and his parents fight all the time. His mom abuses him and his dad does nothing to stop her.
