the makuna's world view

The Makuna’s world view was very closely related to art. As I watched the video, it seemed as though everything in their culture was really closely tied together; the ceremonies, art, and history among others. The art is involved in the ceremony, the Peach Palm festival, which is basically celebrates the history of how the Makuna came to be.
Many of the students in the class may have sort of been shocked by some of the stuff they heard in the movie, things such as the Shaman becoming an animal. I can’t directly relate to the Makuna, but my parents are from India, and when I went there, I saw the cultural differences.
