Does Hip-Hop influence violence? In recent weeks Hip-Hop has been attacked. People from every background and race, though predominantly white, have turned their backs on what many see as a way of life. I, myself am a follower of Hip-Hop but I will try to go both sides of the argument. Many have criticised Hip-Hop because they believe it promotes violence, such people as David Blunkett, George Bush and even a doctor who blamed lyrics for creating a more obese population. This doctor said that the lyrics made listeners depressed, resulting on over eating. I see that as an irresponsible way of blaming obesity, and we are all becoming fatter simply because everything we eat contains more unhealthy parts to it than healthy. However,
