Catherine Opie

After reading the article about Catherine Opie I have a new appreciation for her work as a whole. I had seen many of the projects she had worked on over the years when she came to UCI last year as a guest lecturer. She shown many slides from her body of work. I found her portraits very vivid and although I could not relate that much to the content the prints sounded really cool, I saw one I think at the Newport Beach Contemporary Art Museum.
