Robert Frost is known as one of the best poets of the twentieth century. He is a modern poet whose’ poetry is written to be easily understood and read as though it were an everyday speech. Robert Frost utilized “natural” symbolism in a lot of his writings. He has written about rural landscape and wildlife so much that people often refer to him as a nature poet. In the poem “After Apple Picking”, Frost utilizes an apple for life/death. He shows how an apple can represent life or death.
