Ann Hopkins Case

Changes in today’s workforce have meant a departure from the previously accepted jobs occupied by women in the workforce. These stereotypes however, pose challenges for men in current society, most particularly in jobs that are mainly considered male oriented. This concludes that they must adapt to be at ease with women who are self-confident, as in Ann Hopkins’ case, and who do not fit the defined notion of being nurturers or caring.
