Rap and Rock Music’s Negative Influence on Teens Today
Rap and rock music influence teenagers in several different ways these days. Many people feel it can persuade people to do violent acts or sets a bad example. The Parent’s Music Resource Center (PMRC) says that, “listening to heavy metal music leads to antisocial behavior like juvenile delinquency, breakup of the family, rise in satanic cults, and teen suicide.”(PMRC#3) Many suicides and cases of adolescent depression are blamed on a certain band’s songs and or images.
