“It’s just a domestic”; this is a term often used by police when responding to a call of violence between a husband and a wife. In today’s society marriage is an important unity that most people go above and beyond to preserve. When trying to help a woman who is being abused it is essential to step “outside the box” and understand her reasons for resistance.
