Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,
In your story The Great Gatsby, I found the novel to be lacking in emotions. I don’t believe you developed the feelings for the characters. It seemed as though you wanted Gatsby to remain a mystery to all the readers. You made some feelings obvious such as pain, grief, love, greed, and jealousy, but not as I would’ve perceived a person would feel of them. I have a couple concerns about the way your story was set up.
First, You used Nick Carraway as your narrator, and because he was so honest, he made the story. I think that in your story, it seemed as though Nick questioned his belief that Gatsby was so perfect and his opinion of him so unaffected by the life that he lead, the parties he gave, and his love for Dais
