The rise of the golden age of western capitalism can best be categorized as an explosion of the economy. The tremendous boost in the economy during the post-war period can be explained by many factors. One of the most significant factors was the rise of capitalism originally in the west with the United States and Canada and then following in Western Europe and Latin America. With this surge of capitalism, came a great push towards production both on the assembly lines and in the homes, because this mass production of goods led to a mass consumption of goods.
