It is assumed that Venezuela’s political state will not stabilize and economic situation will not improve in the near future. It is assumed that because of the current condition, recovery does not look promising into 2003.
2) Limitations
Currently, Venezuela is ongoing change and is at a state of instability and therefore, this is a difficult time to ascertain whether or not Venezuela is or is not a good location for foreign direct investment. It is not at the moment, but at the same time it does have much to offer in terms of foreign direct investment and it may be a good candidate for foreign direct investment once its economy stabilizes.
