In viewing Spike Lee’s Crooklyn, I can honestly say this is one film I can truly relate to. When my friends and I get together and reminisce, we have a saying and every statement we make begins with “Back in the day when so and so happened….” Or “Remember, back in the day when…”, once this begins we know we are in for a long night of “Back in the days”.
