Black Hawk Down

Black Hawk Down is modern war story told by Mark Bowden. The date of the book publication was January of 2002. It has been given many awards since it was published. The book was named New York Times Book of the Year while being selected as a National Book Award Finalist and an independent bookseller. Black Hawk Down takes place in Mogadishu, Somalia on October 3, 1993. The U.S. soldiers are the protagonists and the Somalis were the antagonists. Staff Sgt. Matt Eversmann, Ranger Lt. Col. Danny McKnight and Delta Sgt. First Class Jeff Sanderson are the main characters in this story. Staff Sgt.
