Imagine a place where few people died of diseases and where people lived long enough lives to see up to six generations after them. Stem cells from human embryos could make this dream a reality if current stem cell research were to receive more government help by removing regulations and increasing funding. Without funds from the government, stem cell research will continue to move along at a snail’s pace. Stem cells are the key to human existence as well as the ticket to a healthier life. There will not be any area of medicine that will not feel the effects of stem cell research. Current bans and restrictions on stem cells will only slow researchers’ progress towards a healthier future.
