The purpose of this experiment was to investigate a difference amplifier having a gain of 10. For this experiment it was assumed that R1=R2 and Rf=Rg and that the input resistance was 110K ohms. Output voltage was calculated using the following equation:
Vout= (Vs2-Vs1)*10.0. Experimental values which include R1 and R2 are in the calculation section of this report. A brief summary of what was actually done in this experiment was that the output offset voltage was measured. Then the Vout was measured using the DMM and then the dc voltage was measured for Vs2. Finally the Vout/Vin was calculated when V2=1V and V1=0 which should have given a gain of 10. In order to satisfy the purpose of this experiment the potentiometer was connected
