In his book Stealing Innocence, Henry A. Giroux attempts to show why the innocence of childhood has fallen victim to today’s corporations. He does this with the use of scenarios such as beauty pageants and advertising in schools. However, Giroux attempts to reach the slacking adult class with ways to work toward improvement and he fails.
