The dictionary defines an “animal” as a living being that can feel and move about of its own will, as a man, dog, sparrow, fish, snake, fly, etc. Through this definition, humans too, are described as animals. We feel and are able to move freely on our own. So, why is it that from the beginning of time, we find it necessary to mistreat and slaughter animals? If we are similar, this means that the mistreatment and mass slaughter of animals is equal to the mistreatment and mass slaughter of humans, but not as significant, as some would argue.
