Godfather II, which was directed by one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, Francis Ford Coppola, is one of the few movies ever made in which the sequel is better than the first movie. This movie is the greatest Mafia movie of all time, and started the careers for Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, who are now always associated as being the best actors to ever portray the Mafia in any of the films about it they are in. The main characters are of course Pacino and De Niro. Pacino plays Michael Corleone, the son of the late Godfather. De Niro plays Michael’s father in flashbacks that explain how he put Michael in power.
