The concept of mass media is simple. It’s purpose is to circulate information and news throughout the general public. "Mass Media" written by Lance Strate says, “Mass media shapes public opinion and forms ideological conception.” The media not only influences people about what to think, but it can also leave out information to prevent you from seeing the whole picture.
