High Fidelity

The character I chose to analysis is the character Rob Gordon in the movie High Fidelity. This character fines everything he has ever lost and much more throughout the film. He stumbles through life stories, love affairs, and the vinyl at the record store he owns. This character is a perfect example of a struggling thirty something male trying to get his life in order. For that reason I chose John Cusack’s portrayal or Rob gordon in High Fidelity. Rob is a self-described “professional appreciator” whose lack of ambition prompts his girlfriend, Laura, to abandon him and his apartment (which is full of his record collection). “You haven’t changed so much as a sock since I met you,” she tells him. “You’re the same person you used to be,
