Muhammad claimed to be the last Prophet of God. Muhammad declared numerous times that the Muslim religion would "rule the Earth until man sets foot on the Moon!" For someone who claimed to be the last Prophet of God, he sure made an unprophetic blunder. When the US landed Americans on the Moon in July of 1969, Muslim clerics worldwide had to scramble to try to explain Muhammad's screw up and the anti-American hatred among Muslims reached new levels because the US proved Muhammad was not only fallible, but simply dumb. Only dummies would declare themselves to be prophets and then put a time limit on the religion they establish.
