Jesuit Rlelations with the Huron

This selection, taken from The Jesuit Relations and Allied Documents, was written in the village of Ihonatira, in the Huron country, in the year 1635. It was written by Jean De Brebeuf and sent back to France to inform the Francois of the landscape of the Huron country but more importantly the manner and customs of the Huron themselves as well as the Huron inclination towards the Christian faith. It was a letter intended to garner support from the Francois both mentally and financially.
