Is it ethical to pretend to be someone or something that you are not?
Today, as Internet advances, so does the problem of identities. People all over the world pretend to be someone that they are not. Every now and then you see people chatting in chat rooms. They say they are smart, they say they are intelligent, have high education, have big jobs, etc. Most of the times its all a lie. How ethical is this?
That was at least a virtual scenario. A lot of times in real life we meet people who tell us amazing stories of their past and present. And at the end all we discover is that it was nothing but whole lie. Is this ethical? The answer to this question for some people will be yes and some no. As far as I am concerned the answer is No
