Deadly Decision

Whether the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment, whether it is justifiable, or whether it is implemented properly in our justice system is mainly determined by opinion. There are many authorities in our justice system that are aware of the flaws and the wrongful execution of innocent people, yet they do not feel the death penalty should be discontinued. This is why opinion plays a very big part in whether or not the death penalty should be implemented. People have been executed because of poor representation, discrimination, authorities placing blame on an innocent person to protect their reputation as law enforcers, and because of mistaken identity. Finally, there should not be any doubt whatsoever when implementing the death
