Paul McCartney was one member of legendary pop band of the 60’s and 70s, the Beatles. Paul was born in Liverpool in 1942. When he was 14 years old, Paul wrote his first song, I Lost My Little Girl. One year later, in 1957, Paul meets John Lennon and joins John’s group, the Quarrymen. The Beatles, which consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, formed in 1960 and by 1961 they were establishing themselves as a respectable, and quite popular, local band in Britain.
