The Last Day of My Middle School Career
I jumped out of bed on that beautiful Friday and grabbed the first clothes that I could find from the cluttered pile on the floor. Then, I ran downstairs to find my cheerful parents cooking breakfast. Dad was setting the table and Mom had just finished putting the crispy bacon on a plate. They had also made juicy sausage, delicately browned biscuits and fresh eggs. I sat down at my usual place at the table with a thud and ate until I thought I would burst. I knew that I would need all the nutrients I could get, because I would be exerting a lot of energy this weekend.
